I am a member of the Australian Indigenous Astronomy Group, established by Dr Duane Hamacher. I am also a PhD candidate in the School of Humanities & Languages, UNSW, researching the astronomical traditions of the Wiradjuri people of central NSW under the supervision of Dr Duane Hamacher (Monash) and Prof Daniel Robinson (UNSW), with support & guidance from Wiradjuri Elders & Communities. In a past life I earned diplomas in civil & mechanical engineering, degrees in biology & forest ecology, and more recently (2013) earned my MSc in astronomy from Swinburne University, which included a major project examining the astronomy of the Aboriginal people near Ooldea, South Australia. I have also worked as an astronomy educator at Ayres Rock Resort, Launceston Planetarium, and Sydney Observatory.
